Making steady progress.

After coming close to 270 pounds before New Years, I weighed in at 251 on Monday. 220, here I come!

For anyone else thinking about losing weight: Despite paying actual $$$ on ediets.com, I turned around and paid more $$$ to subscribe to thedailyplate.com, too.

Why do both? Well, besides the fact that ediets is firmly convinced that all their users are either women or secretly want to be women ("The Better Butt Diet"? Seriously?) it also has a number of website design problems that make tracking your eating and exercise a real PITA. On the other hand, while thedailyplate does both of those really well, it doesn't actually suggest menus and recipes and it doesn't actually assign a work out program to you. ediets does both, and it varies the work out based on what equipment you tell it you have and how hard it thinks you should be working.

But - thedailyplate.com is cheap, and a lot of it is free, so if you have to use just one, try that one.
